6 Full-time 17 hours ago Full Job Description Albany Georgia 10004BR Job description and requirements Maintenance Supervisor About this opportunity Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will manage daily maintenance activities to support printing and extrusion production departments, plans and assigns work, enforces policy and procedures, drives root cause analysis activities, recommends improvements in production methods, and participates in continuous improvement team activities.
Manages environmental regulatory, issues and concerns for the plant.
What you will do Provides daily work assignments to maintenance team members Conducts performance reviews on all maintenance team members Enforces all plant policies and procedures Enforces all plant and department safety rules Manages department performance and report result as directed by facility manager Manages daily goal setting to achieve maximum machine uptime and productivity Audits quality, safety, and environmental housekeeping procedures Monitors department performance and ensures barriers are identified and actions assigned Manages training and continuous education to ensure proper skill level throughout the maintenance department Manages and ensures compliance of environmental regulator concerns Maintain a key spares program to minimize the impact of issues with key machines Coordinates shipping and receiving of solvent shipments with Environmental Coordinator Handles hazardous waste.
Prepares and transports hazardous waste to 90 day storage area.
Signs hazardous waste manifest.
