59 PM Eastern Description The Dougherty County District Attorney's Office has a vacancy for a Legal Secretary.
Essential Tasks Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to:
assisting the District Attorney's Office by providing legal secretarial duties.
Minimum Qualification High school diploma or equivalent and formal training or special courses in legal terminology or closely related field, which is equivalent to one (1) year of college education with one (1) year of administrative experience; or have a related equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
