Non-Exempt Purpose:
This is a critical customer service position that requires building relationships and trust with our OEM and aftermarket parts customers.
Candidate is responsible for purchasing, selling, delivery and parts warranty support of John Deere and affiliated aftermarket parts and accessories.
Handles customer needs via phone, email and occasional in-store customer service.
Essential Functions:
Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needsoTracks and files parts shortages, mis-shipments and damage claimsoAssists dealers, OEM's, customers and sales team with part lookup and verification.
oFiles parts orders, claims, mailings and bulletins as required in conjunction with other parts personneloPractices upselling with dealers and OEM's to meet additional customer needs while increasing sales volume.
oFollows up on shortages and expedite issuesoProvides quotes for and orders John Deere & ServiceGard toolsoGains and utilizes understanding of Flint manufactured product components in order to support customer needs for non-engine components and assemblies Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to develop relationships with customers and dealers over the phone and via emailoIntermediate verbal and written communication skillsoIntermediate data entry, keyboarding and computer skills oBasic parts and machinery knowledgeoPrevious Parts Look up experience oAbility to learn and use various John Deere sites and applications oAbility to work in a team environment oAbility to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
oHigh School diploma or equivalent experience Other Duties:
