Duties and
Responsibilities:
Customer Service- Communicating with customer's your estimated arrival time prior to arriving onsite.
Conduct Site Survey- determine the best positioning of our equipment for strongest signal reception
Equipment Installation- Place mounts, satellite dishes and receivers while ensuring broadband connectivity. Ensure all work completed meets all FCC and NED requirements and company specifications
Customer Education- review order with the customer and teach them the basics.
DISH Smart Home Services- Successful technicians have the opportunity to offer our customers additional services and products while earning incentives.
Metrics- Meet or exceed required performance goals and quality standards while performing other duties.
Inventory- Maintain accurate inventory and equipment for installations, service calls or trouble tickets.
What We Are Looking For:
- DISH Network Installer. Experience preferred, but not required, we will train the right person.
- Ability to be independent and work well with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability and comfort level to climb ladders up to 32ft.
-Ability to perform satellite equipment installations on rooftops, walls, poles, etc.
- Ability to lift/carry the weight of tool boxes, ladders, antennas, cabling, etc. to and from job sites
- All proper hand tools and the knowledge of how to use them.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: Depending on Company requirements an applicant can apply at the minimum age of 18 or 21
o Valid U.S. Driver License & provide proof of Good Driving Record
o Pass criminal history background check & drug screening
o Must be willing to Work Flexible Hours, including Weekends and Holiday
o Comfortable Working in Small Spaces and/or Various Heights
o Ability to Safely Operate a Motor Vehicle (white SUV, truck or van)
o Ability to Climb Ladders in a Safe Manner with proper height structure
o May have to supply own tools if Company is not providing tools, some require cordless tools only.
o Working Cell Phone with Data Plan (may vary by company requirements) company may require the use of a tablet and/or E-mail (depending on Company requirements)
