The Service Manager position with Yancey Truck Centers is responsible for managing revenue producing technicians at a dealership that sells, and provides product support for new International Trucks as well as all makes of used trucks. This position is responsible for providing a safe workplace and developing a Safety First culture. The Service Manager position is responsible for hiring, developing, and addressing employee issues. This position will have full responsibility for profit and loss performance and reporting. As such, it will fall on the Service Manager to create an operating budget, control costs, build a loyal clientele, meet financial objectives and establish good employee relations. The Service Manager must address employee and customer complaints in a timely manner, with the focus being to establish and maintain an efficient and pleasant work atmosphere and loyal customer following. Must stay current on the manufacturer's product offerings that we support as well as their policy procedures and warranties.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of OSHA Regulations to establish Safety policies and procedures
Excellent people skills with customer service experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Minimum 5 years truck dealership experience with direct management of revenue producing technicians
Previous experience growing and developing a technician force
Strong computer skills
Strong knowledge in accounting and budgeting
Previous experience managing a P&L statement
Strong Mechanical/Technical Background
Experience serving as a liaison with OEM representatives
International Dealership experience and CDL License preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
