Contract Review Analyst

CBAIA is seeking a Contract Review Analyst to conduct an Internal Quality File Review (I-QFR) of contract actions. The Contract Auditor will review contract actions for compliance with applicable policy, regulatory and statutory provisions and documented best practices.
+ Perform an in-depth file review of contracting actions to ensure sound business decisions were made with regard to policy, statutory and regulatory procedure.
+ Provide recommendations and assessment as to the overall effectiveness of the contracting processes.
+ Identify potential systematic issues, areas for improvement, areas of excellence/best practices and opportunities to provide informal and/or formal training to the contracting offices.
+ Provide a written fieldwork report for each contract file evaluation, including findings and recommendations to the contracting office.
+ Conduct confidential interviews (either face-to-face or via alternate methods) with contracting personnel to include contract specialists, contracting officers, and supervisory contracting officer(s).

+ Establishment of Acquisition Planning (AP)/ Management and Oversight Process for the Acquisition of Services (MOPAS)
+ Procurement Profile and Execution Plans
+ Determination and Findings (D&F)
+ Single Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Waiver Documentation and Approval

+ Bachelor?s degree in Business related field and (15) years of experience in performing United States Department of Defense contract writing and oversight in the occupational series code 1102 (Contracting) or similar work.
+ (5) years contracting experience supporting ACAT I, II, and III programs.
+ Level III Certified in Contracting ? DAWIA/FAC-C.
+ Ability to obtain and or maintain a Secret Clearance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
