Farmers Insurance Agency Owner

Farmers is NEW to Georgia, but not new to the industry, and looking to grow!  We are the third largest personal lines insurer in the nation, providing over 60 different products and service for customers including: coverage for automobiles, homes, small businesses, life insurance, and other financial planning services. We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded candidates to be Farmers Agency Owners, to work for yourself, but not by yourself!


As an Agency Owner, you will have uncapped earning potential and access to our top rated corporate training program. We are unique in the insurance industry in that we offer differently levels of entry with 3 year financial support packages to help you get started while your renewals build.  You could have ability to earn up to a Quarter Million dollars, in addition to the commissions you earn!

This Opportunity does required between $25K and $50k of liquid capital to get started, depending on location.  This is not a franchise fee, but would be considered working capital.  Agency Owners have uncapped earning potential and access to our top rated corporate training program.  To help you get started and insure your success we provide you with an additional Quarter Million dollars!  This is on top of your new and renewal business commissions over the first 3 years.

  • Utilizing proven marketing systems, or those you may develop, to reach potential customers

  • Providing excellent customer service to policyholders

  • Attending networking & sales events, trade shows & community events

  • Educating and assisting customers with insurance needs

  • Creating your daily schedule, emailing and corresponding with customers

  • Obtaining insurance licenses(s) and staying aware of evolving industry and product changes


Requirements


The qualified Agency Owner will have at least a high school diploma, although a college degree is preferred. The ideal Insurance Agency Owner will also have:



  • Sales and/or customer service experience

  • Ability to obtain Life and Property Casualty licenses

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Self-motivation and goal-orientation

  • Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills

  • Desire to continually learn new products and services

  • Desire to be active in the community

  • Basic computer skills

  • Good credit history with no bankruptcies within the last 12 months

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
