Job Description:
In-depth knowledge of powersports or marine parts required. Motorcycle, ATV, and/or Marine outboard mechanics, as well as enthusiasts are encouraged to apply.
OverviewInbound Parts Technicians are responsible for handling calls from new and existing customers regarding a variety of technical inquiries about marine and powersports vehicles. Using their knowledge of products or services as well as great customer service skills, the Inbound Parts Technician addresses issues, provides support and offers information, as needed, to high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and sales.
Experience and Skills:
Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Assist callers using expert knowledge of marine and/or powersports knowledge.
+ Provide assistance to non-tech CSRs to enhance overall customer experience.
+ Be a technical resource for callers and CSRs.
Inbound Call Responsibilities
+ Determines requirements by working with customers.
+ Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
+ Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
+ Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
+ Sells additional products by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts; explaining new features.
+ Maintains call center database by entering information.
+ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
+ Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
+ Adheres to pre-defined script, as required.
+ Assumes responsibility to maximizing customer satisfaction, as measured by customer surveys.

Qualifications
+ High school diploma or Associates degree (preferred)
+ Expert knowledge of marine and/or powersports equipment and engines
+ Excellent customer-centric problem-solving skills
+ Expert listening and communication skills
+ Ability to articulate verbal
+ Bilingual a plus
+ Basic / Intermediate ability in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Working Conditions
+ Office environment
+ May be required to work more than 40 hours
+ Work schedule: Mon - Fri: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

+ Extensive use viewing a computer monitor and using a keyboard

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
