Orthopaedic Physician Assistant (WILL TRAIN) (1026rr)

Two board-certified and Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons seek another full-time Physician Assistant.
This practice is a mix of total joints, general, spine and fracture care. The position is a combination of the OR and clinic.
Successful candidates should have orthopaedic experience, but the Doctor will train a new graduate with an orthopaedic rotation and a passion for the specialty. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a hard worker and work within a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
First assist
Initial evaluations
Joint aspiration and injections
Pre-op and post-op H&PÔ s
Team PA for sporting events
Write scripts
Coordinate with Physical Therapist and ATC
Ordering tests and evaluate X-Ray, CT Scan and MRI
Casting and splinting
Fracture management
Rounding and call schedule
The location is in the Albany, Georgia area which is a city of 100,000 that is 2.5 hours to Atlanta. The location offers low cost of living, great for the outdoor lover and good quality of life. Compensation: Open, plus a bonus program. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package which includes four weeks vacation and one week of paid CME.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
