We provide diesel and alternative-fueled engines and power generation systems as well as sales, parts, service, and engineered solutions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Diagnose and repair generator set systems in a field environment without direct supervision.
At direction of Field Service Manager, works with Power Generation Sales Department on new product startups.
Demonstrated ability totroubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs.
Ability to read andinterpret electrical wiring diagrams.
Understand safetyaspects of working with all AC voltages up to 600V, 3 phase.
Ability to operate allstandard service tools plus electrical testing equipment.
Ability to work withdetailed information under considerable time limitations and with minimalsupervision.
Excellent communicationand listening skills.
Interact with customersin a professional and courteous manner.
Possesses all thetroubleshooting, diagnosing and repair capabilities or a highly-skilled gensettechnician involving diesel engine, generator, engine governor, generator and enginecontrol gear and electrical power switching mechanisms and their control.
Proficient in WindowsXP; other computer software as required including Business Management System(BMS) and Outlook.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school orcommunity college graduates preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in repair and maintenance work ofpower generators and related components.
Knowledge of Onan Level II preferred.
Proficient in systematically troubleshooting, diagnosing andrepairing emergency power systems and related mechanical and electricalcomponents.
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring and schematicdiagrams.
Thorough understanding of single phase and three phase ACelectrical schemes.
Understand safety aspects of working with all AC voltages up to600 volts, 3 phase and have a working knowledge of NFPA70E safetystandard.
Ability to properly use and maintain common hand tools andelectrical testing equipment.
Self-starter, readily adapts to changing work environment and workassignments.
Excellent communication, report writing, and team workskills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
