I was a member of the team that determines the funds available to repair all USMC ground equipment. The different types of equipment requiring repairs was determined by the need of the troops using those assets. The amount of funds available was determined by the Pentagon Budget office. The priority for different types was also determined by that office. We used this information to coordinate the workload with the various sources of repair and determined the master work schedule through negotiation with all parties involved. We assured that the work was on schedule and resolved any problems that developed in order to have the repairs completed and the assets delivered to the troops when and where needed.
